Approach
My role in this project focused on the comprehensive design of the entire brand ecosystem, from creating the logo, colors, and typography, to designing the graphic line for social media, and crafting each component for both the mobile main platform and the desktop back office. The design process began by understanding the client's mental concept and researching what the competition was doing that we could do better. Subsequently, we grasped the approach of potential users through surveys and forms regarding their needs. The design emphasized the warmth and dynamism of being a tutor, while usability focused on providing the best experience for comparing options, selecting favorites, and ensuring the well-being of their pets on an efficient and intuitive platform.
Research and Discovery
The project began by understanding what the competition was doing at the national level and identifying the pain points of pet owners. By understanding this, I started to build the identity and information architecture to begin validating with users and then sketch the first screens of the platform.

User Research and Insights
We identified patterns such as lack of time, distrust when hiring help, lack of information on services, and difficulty in finding the perfect options for their pets among the multitude of choices available.
Design Process
The design process focused on creating an intuitive, responsive interface that simplifies navigation and enhances the user experience. A prominent, easy-to-use search bar was placed at the forefront, allowing users to input specific keywords related to their needs. Advanced filtering options were implemented, enabling pet’s owners to narrow down their search by criteria such as experiences, activities, vets, training, ubication, alimentation, etc.
The design also incorporated visual elements that guide users seamlessly through the search and selection process, with a dynamic and modern aesthetic that reflects the expected in the pet’s industry. The user is allowed to save its favorites articles and ads for later.

Key Features
Filter: The filter section allows you to quickly find the pet services you need, such as veterinarians, pet stores, trainers, photographers, and more. You can filter by availability, reviews and ratings, specialties, price and more
Agenda: Allows the user to make appointments based in vets recommendations. Also allows to make personal reminders for pets.
Tips’s Section: Based in user’s search and data that he puts in the app, the platform will suggest tips for the breed of his dog, the lifestyle, its age and more.
Explore options: Here the user will have a ton of options to choose in the world of pets by recommendations based in location and behavior in the app
Chat: Allows the user to communicate with the business’s owners like trainers, pet shops, vets for build trust on each one.
Testing and Refinement
Prototypes were tested with target users, and feedback was integrated to refine the user experience further. Usability testing focused on ensuring that the filtering system was effective and that users could easily navigate between search results and business’s owners ads without friction. The final design was iterated to enhance clarity, reduce cognitive load, and improve overall satisfaction.
The design of WaggyBoo has made an early impact on the client, as prior research allowed for the creation of a comprehensive platform for dogs that is currently under development for deployment in 2026. The platform's flexibility and automation will enable stores and entrepreneurs to promote themselves in a simpler and more intuitive way for pet owners. From the users' perspective, dog owners will have a more peaceful life knowing they have all the information for their pets at their fingertips.
