As the sole UX/UI Designer at Cynexe, I spearheaded the design strategy in close collaboration with the Product Manager. My mission was to transform a fragmented design environment into a scalable, high-performance ecosystem, taking full ownership of the interface and user experience across all digital products.

Approach

Research and Discovery

The project began by auditing the existing design chaos. I conducted business research and competitor benchmarking to understand the technical requirements of Cynexe’s specialized modules. This discovery phase revealed a critical need for standardized processes to prevent redundant work and misaligned components that were slowing down the product’s evolution

User Research and Insights

By analyzing internal workflows and developer feedback, I identified that the lack of a centralized design system was the primary cause of friction. The key insight was that for a platform with complex logic—such as Repair and Shipping—usability depended on predictability. Users needed a cohesive interface where similar actions behaved identically across different modules.

Design Process

I built a comprehensive Figma Library from the ground up, implementing Design Tokens, variables, and a robust component system. This was done iteratively; while constructing the library, I simultaneously designed high-priority flows for modules like Device Management, Labeling, and Bulk Uploads. Once the foundations were set, I componentized the entire platform, effectively solving a major scalability problem under pressure.

Testing and Refinement

Refinement at Cynexe was a continuous collaboration with the engineering team. I acted as a bridge, ensuring that the implementation matched the Figma specifications perfectly. I conducted regular UI audits, identifying discrepancies in colors and shapes, and provided detailed reports to developers. This feedback loop significantly reduced front-end errors and ensured that every release met the highest standards of usability and visual integrity
